89 cadillac v-8 front wheel drive coolant leak?
i have a 89 seville that leaks coolant without running. the coolant appears to be coming from inbetween the block and the transmission near the flywheel. the water pump has been recently changed. where the heck is it coming from and how do i fix it?89 cadillac v-8 front wheel drive coolant leak?it kind of sounds like a bad frost plug. if its the frost plug you have to pull the moter89 cadillac v-8 front wheel drive coolant leak?between the head and block, head gasket or manifold, for some years it was a common problem89 cadillac v-8 front wheel drive coolant leak?It could be a freeze plug that is in the block where the engine mounts to the transmission. I would (becarful) to try to tighten the bolts of the water pump first. IF that doesn't work, take it back to the folks that change the water pump.
