Best Coolant(Antifreeze) and how to add for 1997 Toyota Camry LE?

In my car, the coolant level is below the low line.I need to change it. I am not sure about the previously used coolant(type, color, etc) since I bought recently. Can someone tell me %26quot;Prestone Dex Cool 50/50 Antifreeze extended life%26quot; good for Camry? ...do I need to get pre-mixed one or I need to mix with water...which is best..

also do I need to flush out and re-fill or can I add it with existing level...

Appreciate your response :)Best Coolant(Antifreeze) and how to add for 1997 Toyota Camry LE?There is a label on the radiator or in the owners manual that says what kind of coolant you need. If it's dex cool, then that is what you put in. Do not mix in any other kind with dexcool. It will turn to the consistancy of jello. If you mix it it will clog everything up.The mixture is 1/2 antifreeeze 1/2 water. If you drain the radiator remember to bleed the system. Or your car will heat up. To bleed the system. You put in a gallon of antifreeze and a gallon of water. you run the engine until it gets to operating temperature. Turn off the engine and let it cool down. Then put in another gallon and water. Repeat the process. If you don't bleed it . The hoses will bust or it will mess up the heater core.Best Coolant(Antifreeze) and how to add for 1997 Toyota Camry LE?Why pay for water? First have the system flushed. Then look up the capacity and buy enough for the mechanic to fill it half the way and no more (unless you live in Minn or points north (2 gals of regular Prestone should do it). Then he'll fill it up with water. Simple.Best Coolant(Antifreeze) and how to add for 1997 Toyota Camry LE?well you need to know if its green or orange antifreeze first then you can flush if you like then add pre mixed or you mix 50/50 half water half antifreeze.Best Coolant(Antifreeze) and how to add for 1997 Toyota Camry LE?never use dexcool in anything-regual old green antifreeze is the best- dexcool eats rubber seals
