How to change hoses because of coolant leak on a 93 acura?

i really don't want to take it to a garage because it seems like it might be an easy fix, just replace the hoses. however, the metal straps holding the hoses are difficult to remove, and i also want to make sure they are fastened tight enough on the replacements. is this a do-it-yourself or a good idea to take to the garage and fix for a hundred or so?How to change hoses because of coolant leak on a 93 acura? Some hose clamps are adjustable and some are kind of spring/tension loaded. If they are not the adjustable kind ( adjustable have a screw head on them) then just take a pair of needlenose pliers, squeeze the tabs, and move the clamp a few inches towards the center of the hose and that should do it. Either way, replace the clamps when you change the hose. It's not that difficult, maybe a little cramped though. Make sure the car has cooled off too.
