How often do you have to change: the tires, the brakes, the oil, the timing belt, the coolant, the brake fluid

It depends on how much u drive and your driving habits,

you could be wearing your breaks every month if u break hard or race your car, normally u need to change em once every 6-12 months, rotate your tires every 7.5k miles or so, change em when they wear out, use synthetic oil when u change it - it would last u 5-15k miles, timing belt is once about 100k and coolant and break fluids need to be topped off when neededHow often do you have to change: the tires, the brakes, the oil, the timing belt, the coolant, the brake fluidTires - when they wear out

Brakes - when they wear down

Timing belt - rarely

Coolant - when its running low

Brake fluid - nearly neverHow often do you have to change: the tires, the brakes, the oil, the timing belt, the coolant, the brake fluidRotate every 7500, check breaks yearly oil every 6000 mls or 3 months Coolant yearly Timing belt 60,000 break fluid 3 years. Check fluid levels every time you get gas will be the best indicater. If the brake shoes wear a lot the fluid drops. How often do you have to change: the tires, the brakes, the oil, the timing belt, the coolant, the brake fluidgeneral rule of thumb:

oil every 3000 miles or 3 months

tires- rotate every 6000 miles if free

all fluids ( oil, coolant, tranny and brake0, thermostat and plugs every 2 years

t-belt and water pump @90K intervals

brakes- when you need them replacedHow often do you have to change: the tires, the brakes, the oil, the timing belt, the coolant, the brake fluidTires, when they wear out or with the seasons if season appropriate tires are for you. Should rotate every 10,000Km/6,000Miles. Brakes. Have them inspected twice a year. I prefer spring and fall. My Civic goes 125,000 -130,000km every front brake change. My CR-V does 112,000 - 120,000km (No joke or lies here). Rears are inspected each time but get changed double the life cycle of the fronts. But this is with about 75% highway driving. Oil, city or dusty road driving should be every 5,000km. Highway driving is 6,000km. Timing belts should be changed every 100,000 on 1999 and older models. Year 2000 and later models are rated to 200,000 according to Honda Canada. All other fluids are changed every two years regardless, unless you have the new red coolant which is changed every 5 years. For the price difference between the green and red anti-freeze. I prefer to change it every two years regardless. Whoever is doing the anti-freeze change should be using anti-freeze mixed with distilled water to illimnate calcium buildup (Scaling). There is so much info for all of this to get into that would overwhelm many. So just find a trusted repair facility or good friend that can do the work for you.
