White Smoke from engine compartment- Coolant just got changed today.?

So i have a 1998 monte carlo z34 3.8 liter v6 series 2 engine. 106,395 miles on it. Got the oil changed as well as the air filter and since the lubestop guy saw got my coolant flushed/refilled. The previous coolant was sort of brown so i got it flushed and refilled. Upon driving the car i noticed a pretty nasty smell and white smoke started coming out of the left side of the hood. I called the lubestop because i was concerned and he said it was probably because some coolant leaked down onto the engine, i noticed them spraying down the engine area while they were working. Im nervous they could have done something to my, I mean the spilt coolant would explain it, but how long would this take until it stops? My engine does not over heat, temperature gauge is working. Anyone got any advice? Like i said this just got done today, i plan on taking it there tomorrow and having them look at it. Any help is much appreciated.White Smoke from engine compartment- Coolant just got changed today.?The smell of spilled oil or coolant can take a day or two of driving before it goes away. If it has smoked more than a half hour of running then I would guess that they didn't put a hose back on right after the flush. Unfortunately, this happens all the time at quick lube places.White Smoke from engine compartment- Coolant just got changed today.?Could be head gasket but more likely the plastic intakes on those melt where the egr tube from the exhaust goes into the intake. It melts the coolant passages in the intake causing your coolant to be burned creating the white smoke.
