I need to calibrate my 1994 honda accord cooling system?

I changed the coolant on the engine and now it overheats ive heard that when you do this you need to calibrate it but how do i do itI need to calibrate my 1994 honda accord cooling system?if the coolant level drops far enough, you can also end up with an air pocket around the thermostat. this will not allow it to open. look for a 12 mm. bolt with a hole on th top of it coming out of the thermostat. loosen it up. remove the radiator cap. and watch the level and the stream of water coming out of teat little hole. if you get no air bubbles you are done. but keep an eye on the level in the radiator at the same time. when the air bubbles stop, tighten that bolt back up, fill the radiator back up and start the car. let the fan come on a couple of times, or keep an eye on the temp gauge to make sure that this resovled the issue.I need to calibrate my 1994 honda accord cooling system? You probably need to add some more coolant. When you add new coolant the thermostat is closed and it doesn't take the full amount until it heats up and the thermostat opens. Take off the cap when it's cold and check it.
