thanksFlushing Radiator of toyota corolla? On a cold engine, take the radiator and reservoir caps off, open up the drain at the driver's side bottom of the radiator and drain the radiator. Fill with water and start the engine with the heater on high. After 10 minutes of topping off the radiator with plain water, reinstall the caps and drive the car for 30 minutes or so (at your leisure, no hurry). Repeat the whole procedure on a cold or luke warm engine maybe 3 times depending on how clogged up you think your cooling system might be. Finally, on the last drain of the radiator, fill the radiator with 100% antifreeze and let the engine warm up good at idle with the radiator caps off (so that the thermostat in the engine gets hot enough to open). Keep the heater on high. Keep topping off the radiator with 100% antifreeze. Put a 50/50% antifreeze mix in the overflow reservoir and reinstall the caps because your done!Flushing Radiator of toyota corolla?oil indicate the engine coolant passages is leaking oil. this cost alot of money to repair it. you need to fix the problem first before you flush the coolant system. the correct way to repair this oil problem is to replace engine, all coolant hoses and pipes, heater core, heater valve, radiator. once the oil is expose to the coolant system,it soften the rubber hoses which cause it to burst and clogged the coolant passages which cause overheating
