Need some advice from clever auto technicians (mechanics).?

I drive a 99 cavalier. I just bought it a year ago. I am debating on whether or not I should do a coolant flush. The vehical uses only Dex-Cool coolant which last 5 years or 150,000 miles. The vehical is close to 11 years old and has 125,000 miles. How can I tell if the previous changed the coolant and whether or not I need a coolant flush?Need some advice from clever auto technicians (mechanics).?change it to be on the safe side no way of telling if it has been changedNeed some advice from clever auto technicians (mechanics).?Flushes are cheap. Its better to be safe then sorry. There is no way to tell when if ever it has been done unless you have history of it.Need some advice from clever auto technicians (mechanics).?Their is a test for coolant condition, you use a multimeter set to ohms and stick one end in the coolant and the other end to the block if you get a reading the coolant is broken down and eating away at your engine. But for the price and peace of mind a coolant flush, a new thermostat, good visual inspection of hoses and fresh antifreeze is the way to go. If you have access to a coolant pressure tester you can put your cooling system under pressure and find small leaks that could later become bigger leaks plus you can test your radiator cap for release pressure. With all that done then your cooling system will have a clean bill of health.Need some advice from clever auto technicians (mechanics).?Dexcool is B.S. I drive with Prestone green in my GM in the intercooler and engine cooling systems and it runs 5 degrees cooler without adding anything.

Change the coolant (and flush) every 15-20k miles;
